Resource Recovery Program (formerly Surplus)

The Resource Recovery Program (formerly Surplus) serves as an important function to help the University conserve University resources, support sustainability efforts and safely dispose of electronics and other items.  The University regularly surpluses electronics, office equipment and furniture and can surplus student computers by special arrangement.

To assist departments in assuring data security, OIT offers a service to destroy all types of storage media including HDDs, SSDs, CDs, DVDs and floppy disks.  For more information, please see OIT Data Destruction Service in Article 8579.
