Sponsored Service Account

Before you begin be sure you know the name of the current sponsor and their Princeton email address.  Any registered users of the sponsored account can change the password.

Create/Reset Sponsored Service Account Password

1. Visit the Princeton Service Portal homepage. In the Manage Passwords section, select Sponsored Service Account
2. In the Service Account netID field, type the netID of the service account for which you want to change the password.
3. Check the CAPTCHA checkbox to verify that this is a legitimate request and select Next.
4. In the University Email field, enter the email address of the account sponsor and select Next.
5. An email with the password reset link will be sent to the sponsor and to all registered users.
6. Click the link in the email and follow the prompts to reset the service account password.
