All faculty and staff must contact their support staff first. Our policy is that we no longer work on faculty/staff personally-owned devices (exceptions would be simple tasks as defined below under "Personal Machine Guideline") and that we only accept appointments should there be no other support option. Departmental IT Support (SCAD/DCS) should always be the first option for faculty/staff needing technical support, followed by a ticket with CSS should you need to escalate due to difficulties solving issues on university-owned machines.
If you require an appointment with the Tech Clinic you must create an appointment first by emailing TechClinic@princeton.edu.
Appointment hours are Wednesday and Thursday morning 9:00 am - 11:00 am.
Especially for students, the OIT Tech Clinic is a resource to turn to when you are experiencing problems with your computer, devices, or Internet service. Technology Specialists will provide general computing support, diagnose software and hardware issues, assist with network provisioning, and application installation.
