Web Browsers: How to enable and/or disable pop-up blockers


Pop-up windows usually contain unwanted advertisements or phishing attempts that automatically open on your screen as you are browsing the Internet. Most browsers have built-in pop-up blockers that are enabled by default. However, pop-up windows are required for certain web applications, such as HR Self Service and the Online Course Evaluation service.

You should not disable pop-up blockers for all websites, but you should be able to allow pop-ups on a per-site basis.
