OIT’s Web Development Services (WDS) group administers a managed WordPress hosting environment. This service is intended for:
The service includes hosting and basic support for a WordPress website. The shared platform provides plug-ins and themes that WDS evaluates for long-term maintainability and appropriateness for a shared environment. OIT is responsible for hosting, security patches, backups, and WordPress updates. The website owner is responsible for the content. This service is primarily self-service.
