Claiming Host for a Zoom Meeting

Claiming Host

If a user joins a meeting as a guest, or from a device that is not logged in as the host, they still have the ability to claim the host and claim the hosts privileges.
Join the meeting, then the user will click on the participants tab on the Zoom Window



On the participant pane that is presented, click the claim host button at the bottom right hand side

And enter the 6 digit code for the host key*


Then in the participant pane you will be listed as the host and have the host privileges



*Host key is listed on the users profile page

Click the eyelash to show the Host Key.
