Faculty/Staff

Faculty and Staff receive Microsoft 365 (M365) accounts.

Undergraduate Students

Undergraduate students receive Princeton Gmail accounts.  

Graduate students

Most Graduate students have Princeton Gmail accounts. If you login to Gmail and encounter an error saying "You don't have access to Gmail" then you have a Microsoft 365 account.

Configure Email applications

Gmail on desktop/laptop computers

• Webmail via browser (Chrome, Internet Explorer, Safari, etc)
• Outlook for Windows
• Outlook for Mac
• Thunderbird
• Mac Mail

Gmail on mobile devices (smartphones or tablets)

• Mail on iOS
• Gmail app on iOS
• Gmail app on Android

Exchange Online on mobile devices (smartphones or tablets)

• Mail on iOS
• Outlook on iOS
• Outlook on Android
