Within Princeton’s Zoom account, there are two methods to joining the audio portion of a Zoom Meeting or Webinar;
Phone Call or Computer/Device Audio
Phone Call, allows you to dial into the Zoom audio bridge and input the meeting Id and passcode if one is present and join your audio over the phone call for the meeting.
Computer/Device Audio, allows you to use the onboard microphone and speaker for your device, either a PC or a mobile device.
Zoom Desktop Client:
If not already set by default, you will see this when joining a meeting. You can either check the box to have your device automatically join the audio from the computer, here or you can open up the settings on the Zoom Desktop Client
Under Audio on the left pane
Select the “Automatically join audio by computer when joining a meeting”
If during a Zoom meeting you wish to change your audio settings, click on the ^ next to Unmute button and select from the options.
Mobile Device
The layout is very similar on the Mobile devices. When you join a Zoom meeting, you will see the option to Join Audio
And then you can select which option to join with.
You may also set the same option for automatically connecting the audio under the
Settings -> Meeting Settings
