Limitations of the Co-Organizer
A co-organizer can not...
- Manage the meeting recording
- Remove or change the meeting organizer's role
- Change meeting options during Channel meetings
Assign Co-Organizers (Prior to a Meeting)
To add co-organizers to a meeting, make sure the individuals you want to add are required attendees of a meeting you have scheduled.
- From your Teams Calendar, find and select your meeting, and click Edit; or double-click to open.
- The details of the meeting will appear. From the top menu, select Meeting Options
- Scroll to find the Choose co-organizers field and select the drop-down to search for and select participants.
- Click Save.
Assign Co-Organizers (During a Meeting)
Note: To add co-organizers to a meeting, the individuals you want to assign this role to must have already been a required attendee when invited to the meeting. If this has not yet been done, go to the Teams Calendar to access the meeting event. Double-click the meeting event to fully open the meeting and see its details. Add Required attendees. Click or tap the Send Update button.
- On the meeting controls bar on the top-right, select the More Actions ellipse (...) icon. A drop-down menu will appear. Select Meeting Options.
- The Meeting Options panel appears. Scroll to find the Choose co-organizers field and select the drop-down to search for and select participants.
- Click Save.
